Multifunctional convenience with comprehensive network capabilities - The e-STUDIO160 is a multifunctional system for information management. It allows the convenient communication of data with scanning, printing, faxing, and high level copying capabilities. It also offers comprehensive control over the input and output of hard copy and electronic data with advanced networking features in the form of Scan to Email,PC-Fax,and Internet Fax.The e-STUDIO160 is even equipped with OCR for convenient data processing.
Scan to Email convenience - The e-STUDIO160 makes scanning to Email as simple as sending a regular fax. It serves as a bridge between Email and fax transmission, routing text and image files to a PC in a network or any PC connected by the Internet*, using "one-touch" dialling. The user can also edit Email addresses using a small but fully functional keyboard. * Optional Fax Kit, Internet-Fax Kit, NIC (Network Interface Card), and Printer Board required.
Economical Internet Fax - In addition to sending and receiving faxes via fixed lines, the e-STUDIO160 can also make use of the Internet, disseminating data in a more economical manner than can be achieved with telephone lines alone*.
• On ramp / Off ramp gateway functions
The On ramp gateway function allows documents to be received from F code compatible G3 faxes and relayed to other Internet fax machines or PCs. Conversely, selection of the Off ramp gateway function allows the e-STUDIO160 to act as a hub station by receiving Email sent over the Internet and forwarding them to other fax machines through the public switched telephone network. This function allows local phone rates to be used for short distance transmissions and expensive long distance rates to be avoided through use of the Internet.
• Full mode compatibility
This confirms the delivery of sent documents with a display on the control panel and a printed record of time and destination. * Printer Board, NIC (Network Interface Card), Fax Kit, and Internet- Fax Kit required.
Convenient PC-Fax combinations - Without leaving their desks or waiting in line, users can send faxes directly from files on a desktop of any PC in a network*. The e-STUDIO160 also allows Local-PC and LAN-PC faxing from any PC in a network** and offers the advantage of convenient Network-PC faxing using local phone lines for transmission and reception.
