The Konica Minolta Scantrip Utility allows users to upload documents scanned on the Konica Minolta workgroup, departmental or production document systems.
The scanned images are stored as a GROUP 4 TIFF on the Konica Minolta printer/copier's hard drive. Scantrip automatically polls TIFF files created from scanned documents stored on the hard drive. It allows users to select the frequency of the searches (from once a minute to once an hour). Scanned images can be stored on the network or user's PC in any folder they chose and then imported into an OCR package for editing or stored document archival and retrieval or attached to an email file.
